Terms of Use - Cargo Horizons
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Cargo Horizons, a mobile logistics simulation game operated by Ares Technologies Limited ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the game, public API, websites, or related services (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and have reached the legal age of majority in your country to use the Service. The Service is not intended for, and may not be used by, anyone under 18.
You are responsible for your account, credentials, guest account, linked email, and all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep your login details secure. Do not sell, share, transfer, or lend your account.
2. The Game
Cargo Horizons is a chill/idle logistics simulation game. Features may include headquarters, cargo jobs, deliveries, vehicles, maps, leaderboards, in-game store items, coin packs, licenses, cosmetics, VIP features, notifications, AI-assisted events, and ad billboard submissions.
We may add, change, rebalance, suspend, or remove features, content, prices, rewards, regions, items, automation, or game rules at any time. We may also fix bugs, adjust economies, and correct unintended advantages.
3. Virtual Items, Coins, and Purchases
The Service may include virtual currency, vehicles, cosmetics, licenses, VIP packages, ad billboard products, and other virtual items. Virtual items have no real-world cash value, are not legal tender, and cannot be redeemed, exchanged, sold, or transferred outside the Service unless we explicitly allow it.
Real-money purchases are handled through the Apple App Store and RevenueCat. Coin packs are consumable purchases. In-game vehicles, cosmetics, licenses, VIP packages, and ad billboard products may be purchased with in-game coins. Completed purchases are subject to Apple policies, platform rules, and applicable law.
Refund requests for Apple App Store purchases must be submitted through Apple. We may reverse, revoke, or adjust coins or items if a purchase is refunded, charged back, fraudulent, duplicated, credited by mistake, or otherwise invalid.
The Service may include optional rewarded video ads served by third-party ad networks (e.g. Google AdMob). Watching a rewarded ad to completion grants in-game coins. Rewarded ads are subject to daily limits and cooldown periods. We may change or remove the amount, frequency, limits, and availability of ad rewards at any time, and we do not guarantee that ad inventory will always be available. We may revoke rewards obtained through fraudulent, automated, or manipulated ad views.
4. Ad Billboards and User Content
If you upload images or other content for an in-game ad billboard or similar feature, you represent that you own the content or have all rights and permissions needed to submit it. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, review, display, resize, optimize, and distribute that content for operating and promoting the Service.
You must not submit content that:
- Is illegal, deceptive, fraudulent, defamatory, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, exploitative, or harmful.
- Infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
- Contains malware, tracking code, hidden payloads, or attempts to interfere with the Service.
- Targets or exploits minors or vulnerable people.
- Violates App Store rules, platform policies, or applicable law.
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. These rules apply to in-game messages, company and guild names, guild descriptions, application messages, billboards, and all other user-submitted content. Automated filters may prevent objectionable text from being posted.
We may temporarily or indefinitely suspend, or permanently remove from the Service, users who misuse global chat to harass or provoke other players, intentionally or repeatedly disrupt the community, or post messages aimed at systematically discrediting the Service. Enforcement may reflect the severity and repetition of the conduct. We reserve the right, at our discretion, to decide whether and how to exercise these enforcement powers. This provision does not restrict good-faith criticism, feedback, or reports of problems.
Users can use the conversation menu to report an inappropriate conversation, block the other user, and immediately remove the conversation from their own inbox. Player-safety reports may also be sent to [email protected].
We commit to reviewing objectionable-content reports within 24 hours. When a violation is confirmed, we remove the offending content from the Service and suspend or eject the user who provided it.
We may reject, remove, moderate, resize, block, or delete user content at our discretion. Approval of a billboard does not mean we endorse the advertiser, product, or message.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Cheat, exploit bugs, automate gameplay, scrape, spam, or use bots without permission.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, modify, or create unauthorized clients, servers, or APIs.
- Attack, overload, probe, bypass, or interfere with the Service or its security controls.
- Access another user's account or data without permission.
- Use the Service for illegal, harmful, abusive, or fraudulent activity.
- Misrepresent affiliation with us or use our names, logos, or assets without permission.
6. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend, restrict, reset, or terminate your account or access to the Service if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk for the Service or other users, committed fraud, abused purchases or refunds, or if we need to comply with law or platform requirements.
You may stop using the Service at any time and may request account deletion where available. Some records may be retained as described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including software, code, game design, artwork, UI, text, systems, databases, trademarks, logos, and other materials, is owned by us or our licensors. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal entertainment.
You may not copy, distribute, sell, rent, sublicense, publish, or create derivative works from the Service except as allowed by law or with our written permission.
8. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at /privacy-policy.html.
9. Third-Party Services
The Service may rely on third-party services such as Supabase, Mapbox, RevenueCat, Apple App Store, OneSignal, OpenRouter, Google AdMob, hosting, CDN, storage, monitoring, and security providers. These services may have their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party outages, policy changes, or actions outside our control.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, specific rewards, exact route accuracy, permanent availability of features, or that gameplay data will always be preserved without interruption or loss.
Map routes, traffic assumptions, delivery times, AI-generated events, prices, rewards, leaderboards, and public map data are part of a game simulation and should not be used for real-world logistics, navigation, financial, legal, or professional decisions.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, virtual items, or game progress arising from or related to the Service.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid through the Service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or 100 USD if you made no payments.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the Service, your user content, your violation of these Terms, your violation of law, or your infringement of third-party rights.
13. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to conflict of law rules. Unless applicable law requires otherwise, disputes will be subject to the courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul, Turkey.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
